Dear Arvada Community and Staff,
We want to thank the Arvada principal selection committee for their work in helping to find your next great leader. The committee had a tough job given that there were excellent candidates interested in serving in the role of principal for our amazing school. This group took their charge seriously and represented the Arvada community with passion, purpose and dedication.
We are pleased to announce the interview committee, along with district leadership, has selected Ms. Caroline Frazee to serve as the next principal of Arvada Senior High School. Ms. Frazee has over 15 years of experience in the classroom and as a school leader. She is very enthusiastic about this opportunity and is excited and honored to serve the community in which she lives.
Caroline has a strong track record serving in the role of Assistant Principal at both Wheat Ridge High School and at Riverdale Ridge in the 27J school district. Caroline also comes with a strong background working in Title 1 schools in both DPS and APS as an instructional leader. Ms. Frazee is excited to continue the great work in progress at Arvada while continuing to push success and improvement forward. Caroline has a deep understanding of Jeffco’s focus to provide exceptional student experiences and she has a vast background in creating unique pathways and Career Technical Education opportunities for students.
Ms. Frazee is excited to meet the staff, students and community of AHS. She will work diligently to strengthen relationships between all stakeholders. Ms. Frazee expressed to the committee she leads from a core belief and focus on ensuring all students are provided the opportunities to realize their post-secondary goals. She will create the environment to bring all stakeholders together, with the same mission and vision so great things can be achieved.
Ms. Frazee was introduced to the staff today after school by the interview committee. Caroline will continue to be committed to her work at Wheat Ridge High School but will find time to connect with Shannon Vigil and the staff and students at Arvada High School between now and the end of the year. She will begin to work with the staff and students in the coming month to transition into this new role. Please come join us then to welcome her to Arvada!!
