News and Reminders:

• Jeffco has announced that all high schools will operate 100% remotely until at least Feb. 1. Read about Jeffco's Return to School Plan
• Meal service for remote students has resumed. Click here for details and information about Mobile Meal Delivery.
• We will be offering Night School for credit recovery online this semester. Classes start Feb. 2 and cost $135 per 1/2-credit class. See the AHS website for details and a registration form.

Health and Safety:

• COVID-19 : Click here for the Student Self reporting form. Parents/guardians and students, help the District track incidents of COVID-19 during all-remote learning periods by using this form. You may also contact your school nurse. Note, if you are a student under 18 years of age, the form requires the approval of a parent/guardian.
• Please contact Arvada’s district Registered Nurse Stacey Kowalski at Stacey.Kowalski@jeffco.k12.co.us for any health related issues or diagnoses including: COVID positive students, diabetes, seizures, asthma, allergies, and any other health updates for your student.

From the Athletics Department:

• Anybody who is interested in playing boys/girls basketball: workouts are going on right now. The workouts will start in the weight room first at 3:15pm. Then the workouts will be in the small gym from 4pm to 5:30pm and extra work will go from 5:30pm to 6pm
• Boys/Girls who are interested in wrestling: workouts are going on right now. The workouts are in the wrestling room from 4pm to 6pm. 
• January 18th is the first official start of Season B (wrestling and basketball). In order for you to practice, you will need to register on the athletics website and you will need to get a sports physical. 
• We will be following all Covid 19 policies and guidelines. The safety of our players and coaches is essential. If you have any questions please feel free to contact Dan Quaratino, Athletic Director at dan.quaratino@jeffco.k12.co.us.
